2015 BET AWARDS RED CARPET + PRESSROOM + CANDIDS PICTURES

Black-ish stars Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross hosted this years BET Awards

The Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards took place this past Sunday (June 28) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California and I made it back into the country (Sidebar: I can't wait to do a travel post, hopefully in July or August about my trip!) just in time --actually I missed the first 45 minutes, to watch the Awards!

Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross, who star in ABC's hit television show Black-ish, were the hosts of this year's award show, which marked the 15th anniversary of the BET Awards.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, Ciara and boxing champion Floyd Mayweather

Black-ish star Miles Brown (his smile *melts*) posed with his TV parents on the red carpet.

How freaking adorable is Miles in this picture?!
Singer/actress Brandy graced the red carpet.

Kendrick Lamar's Opens 2015 BET Awards with Alright

I haven't been feeling Kendrick Lamar since he made these comments,
What happened to [Michael Brown] should've never happened. Never. But when we don't have respect for ourselves, how do we expect them to respect us? It starts from within. Don't start with just a rally, don't start from looting -- it starts from within."
However, he opened the BET Awards with a powerful performance with Alright.
