ALBUM SALES FOR WEEKS ENDING FEB. 26, 19 & 12!



No. 1 Adele's 21 sold 297,000 copies this week. The album which was released just over a year has sold 7.65 million copies in the U.S. alone and within that figure 1.83 million copies have been sold in 2012 alone! Work,   yamp!
No. 2 Whitney Houston's Whiney: the Greatest Hits sold 174,000 copies sold this week.
No. 3 Fun's Some Nights debuts with 70,000 (74,000 in total) copies sold this week.
No. 4 Tyga's Careless World: Rise of the Last King debuts with 61,000 copies sold this week.
No. 5 Now 41 21 sold 54,000 copies this week.
No. 6 Whitney Houston's The Bodyguard soundtrack sold 47,ooo copies sold this week.
No. 7 Adele's 19 sold 39,000 copies this week.
No. 8 Chiddy Bang's Breakfast debuts with 31,000 copies this week.
No. 9 Whitney Houston's Whitney Houston sold 30,ooo copies sold this week.
No. 10 2012 Grammy Nominees compilation album sold 29,000 copies this week, bringing total sales to 251,000.

No. 14 Rihanna's Talk That Talk sold roughly 23,000 copies this week, bringing her total sales to 698,000.

No. 124 Mac Miller's Blue Slide Park sold roughly 3,000 copies this week, bringing his total sales to 292,000.

Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Feb. 26) totaled 6.31 million units, down 18% compared to the sum last week (7.72 million) and down 3% compared to the comparable sales week of 2011 (6.50 million). Year to date album sales stand at 48.01 million, up 3% compared to the same total at this point last year (46.45 million).
