OSCARS 2012 EXTRAS [PHOTOS]

Who are they kidding (look at their faces)...this is awkward for obvious reasons and they likely can't stand each other for not so obvious reasons.

Octavia: "Thank you for putting me with the sexiest man in the room tonight!" Roxxy: THEE sexiest, indeed!
Booty, booty, booty rockin' everywhere!

OSCARS 2012 WINNERS' LIST

Best Supporting Actress: Octavia Spencer, "The Help" Octavia: *reads the tele-a-promoter* "Please wrap up...I'm wrapping up...I'm sorry." #Cuteness!

Best Director: Michel Hazanavicius, "The Artist"
Best Actor: Jean Dujardin, "The Artist"

Best Actress: Meryl Streep, "The Iron Lady"
Best Supporting Actor: Christopher Plummer, "Beginners"

OSCARS 2012 RED CARPET -A POP OF COLOR!

A POP OF COLOR!
70% of me really likes Viola Davis' Vera Wang gown, the other 30% thinks the dress was doing a tad too much.
Yaaasss! Glenn Close betta work in this Zac Posen gown!
The Artist's  Missi Pyle (you may remember her as the chick that Queen Latifah knocked DE phuck out in Bringing Down the House) wore the winning Red Carpet Green Dress competition gown created by Valentina Delfino. Nicceee!
The Views' Sherri Shepherd wore the wrong undergarment and dress on the red carpet.  I like the color and even the style of the dress, but it not for Sherri. That dress is for someone with a little more height and about 25 years older.

OSCARS 2012 RED CARPET -SPARKLE!

 SPARKLE!

Octavia looked nice in this Tadashi Shoji sparkler!

Jenny Lo definitely gave'em something to talk about when she showed up and turned it out on the red wearing this sheer panel, low cut with cut-outs Zuhair Murad gown! Fyi: She can do no wrong in my book when it comes to stylin' on dem!

Bridesmaids star Rose Byrne looked stunning and a lot like a brunette version of Michelle Pfeiffer's character Elvira in Scarface, in this Vivienne Westwood gown! I'm lovin' it!

OSCARS 2012 RED CARPET (WELL...SORT'VE) - THE MEN!

"It's Diddy, hold up!"

Brad Pitt put on a fake smile while strolling through the red carpet. I guess after you've done 1 or 3 dozen of these things, it get's old. Sidebar: Lovin' that girl behind Brad's tuxedo bootcut slacks, although I would have done at least a 4 incher with those pants.

The Artist's Jean Dujardin. He's sort of a bun, isn't he!

Pharrell aka Fo' Real was in the building!

OSCARS 2012 RED CARPET -BLACK, WHITE & GOLD!

BLACK, WHITE & GOLD!

This. dress. is. my. QUAN! Angelina Jolie's black velvet Atelier Versace gown was easily in the top 3 best dresses of '12 Oscars! The dress even gave Angie the appearance that she had a little va-va voom body...even though we know that's not case! The momma of 6 gave it!

Stacy Keibler aka George's new piece, looked absolutely, positively, biz-zangin' in this gold lamĂ© Marchesa gown!

Gwyneth Paltrow elevated her Tom Ford cream gown from simple and chic to fashion forward status with the addition of the matching cape! Gwynie has really been stepping up her fashion game from nice and safe to chic and sultry in the last 2 years or so...I see you pimpin'!

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo star Rooney Mara looked very old school glam with the bang and red lips with a touch of edge --I really like the unexpected, in my mind, ode to Jean Paul Gaultier and Madonna's Blond Ambition tour wardrobe-type of thing happening with this gown!

OSCARS 2012 RED CARPET - THE REDS!

REDS!
What can I say that hasn't already been said about my darling Emma Stone in this Giambattista Valli dress...on yeah...Wooooorrrrrrkkkk Yamp!!!
The other Michelle Williams (who am I kidding, there is really only one that is relevant right now!), rocked this exquisite tiered Louis Vuitton gown. Pixie cut + that face + that red lip + dress + pink clutch (which was a nice contrast color...no matchy matchy foolishness allowed)  = PERFECTION!

New mom, Natalie Portman rocked this vintage Christian Dior Haute Couture gown from the fashion houses 1954 collection. I REALLY like this dress, but I think Natalie's hair, make-up and accessories, if different could have ELEVATED the heck out of her look!

OSCARS 2012 RED CARPET -THE NUDES!

NUDES!

Cameron Diaz rocked a body fitting Gucci nude dress with soft wave ruffles and gold accents at the train of her gown...me LOVES! I also like how she went back to her There's Something About Mary haircut, it suits you Cam as Nigerians would say..."well, well!"

Louise Roe (I know, who? She's reportedly a television presenter, stylist and journalist), rocked a very unexpected but chic nonetheless nude pink Black Halo "gown." I'm not sure I would classify her attire as a gown.
Bridesmaids star Wendi McLendon-Covey wore a princessy pink nude tulle dress with gold and beaded accents...HATED IT! This is a dress I expect to see on someone 12-24 years old.

Today is Valentine's Day and what better way to show your significant other your love then by recording a song for them!

The tweet read, "Will, I love you. Happy Valentine's Day. This is for you."

WENDY WILLIAMS BREAKS DOWN SOBBING REMEMBERING WHITNEY HOUSTON [VIDEO]

This morning talk show host Wendy Williams began her show by remembering "The Voice," the legendary singer Whitney Houston, who passed away unexpectedly this past Saturday (Feb. 11) in Los Angeles, California.

As Wendy began to detail how she first came to know Houston and how her arrival into the music industry influenced not only her peers, but a generation of black woman and young girls across the world, the outspoken talk show host began to openly sob.

Many of you are aware of the infamous Whitney-Wendy interview that took place live on-air back in 2003, where many me say that Whitney READ Wendy her life...like no one had ever done before.

Some me may even feel that although at one point Wendy had the top rated radio show in the No. 1 market (New York), it was the infamous Whitney interview that put Wendy on the map --nationally, which led to Wendy having a top-rated talk show on network television,  well into its third season.

One thing I will say is that although Wendy was critical of Whitney in 2003 and more recently after Whitney's 2-part interview on the Oprah Winfrey Show back in 2009, I believe it came from a place of love.

Wendy is a Cancer like myself and we're known to be straight shooters, who have a strong aversion to political correctness and/or sugar coating serious situations. Wendy was extremely vocal about Whitney's problems because Wendy likely saw her former self in Whitney. Wendy has been vocal about her past addiction to cocaine and crack.

Wendy admits she was harsh in her critique of Whitney's last interview with Oprah back in 2009 because Wendy believed Whitney had yet to wholeheartedly acknowledge her addiction and take the most effective steps to remedying her addiction.

As someone who not only idolized and emulated Whitney growing up, I'm still devastated and truly hurt by her passing. So much so, I still haven't been able to bring myself to blog an official post on Whitney's passing because to do so would mean I would have to face the true and hard fact that Whitney is gone and will not be coming back...ever!

Anyway, check out Wendy's tearful video after the break!

I'm crying just creating this post and looking Jennifer Hudson's face...it soooo hard to say goodbye!

I know we are not supposed to question when God calls someone we love and admire home, but I just can't NOT question why. Whitney Houston meant so much to us all...it's just not fair!
