No. 1 Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV debuts with 964,000 copies sold this week.
No. 2 Red Hot Chili Pepper's I'm With You debuts with 229,000 copies sold this week. 
No. 3 Adele’s 21 sold 154,000 albums sold this week, bringing her total sales to 3,289,000.
No. 4 Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch The Throne sold 80,000 copies this week, bringing their total sales to 787,000.
No. 5 David Guetta's Nothing But The Beat debuts with 56,000 copies sold this week.
No. 6 Jack Owen's Barefoot Blue Jean Night debuts with 55,000 copies sold this week.
No. 7 Beyonce's sold 39,000 copies this week, bringing her total sales to 739,000.
No. 8 Game's R.E.D sold 39,000 copies sold this week, bringing his total sales to 137,ooo. 
No. 9 Barbara Streisand What Matters Most sold 37,000 copies this week, bringing her total sales to 105,000.

Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Sept. 4) totaled 6.65 million units, up 29% compared to the sum last week (5.14 million) and up 27% compared to the comparable sales week of 2010 (5.22 million). Year to date album sales stand at 206.57 million, up 3% compared to the same total at this point last year (200.55 million). It is the 15th week in a row where year-to-date album volume is greater than the same time in the prior year. Billboard
