BEYONCE'S "1+ 1" VIDEO + CHRISTIAN BALE COURTED TO STAR OPPOSITE BEYONCE IN "A STAR IS BORN" + SPIKE LEE NEW MOVIE

Yesterday, Beyoncé released her 1+1 music video, which is the 3rd video off of her 4 album.

The video was directed by Beyoncé in collaboration with directors Lauren Briet and Ed Burke. The video is very arthouse/70's porno-esque...me likes!

Check out information regarding Christian Bale (Dark Knight) starring opposite Beyonce in the upcoming Clint Eastwood directed movie, A Star Is Born after the break!

According to Variety, reports are circulating that Academy-award winning actor Christian Bale (The Fighter and Dark Knight) is being courted by studio execs to star opposite Beyonce in the remake of A Star Is Born, which is being directed by Academy-award winning director Clint Eastwood.
A Star Is Born synopsis: A movie star helps a young singer/actress find fame, even as age and alcoholism send his own career into a downward spiral.
This role is sooooooo MAJOR for Beyonce. To be hand-picked by a director of Clint Eastwood's magnitude to star in the popular remake, and then to have all of these Academy-award winning/nominated actors vying for the role of your spouse is unreal!

Leonardo Di Caprio, Will Smith, Brad Pitt, Denzel Washington and now Christian Bale are some of the names being tossed around as possible choices for the role.

I personally think that Christian would be the best choice for a couple of reasons.

I think Denzel is a little too old seasoned for the role. Although, the big age gap between Denzel and Beyonce could work in favor of the premises of the movie.

As far as Will Smith, Leonardo Di Caprio and Brad Pitt is concerned, I'm not sure they're acting range in terms of aggression and depression which the role requires would be convincing enough to me the audiences.

Finally, I think Christian Bale would be perfect for the role because he has proven that he can effectively execute the aggression of serial killer (American Psycho), to a charismatic but down-trodden drug addicted former boxer (The Fighter); to a suave but conflicted billionaire superhero (Dark Knight).

Plus I dig him...so yeah, my vote is for Christian!

In related news, Spike Lee is also courting Bale to star in his upcoming movie, Oldboy.
