ALBUM SALES FOR THE WEEK ENDING AUGUST 7



No. 1 Adele’s “21” sold 76,000 copies this week, bringing her total album sales to 2.9 million.
No. 2 Eric Church's “Chief” debuts with 53,000 albums sold this week.
No. 3 Tracey Adkins’ “Proud To Be Here” debuts with 47,000 albums sold this week.
No. 4 Mat Kearney’s "Young Love" debuts with 44,000 albums sold this week. 
No. 5 Nickelodeon's "Victorious" soundtrack debuts with 41,000 albums sold this week.
No. 6 Jason Aldean's “My Kind Of Party” sold 41,000 copies this week.
No. 7 Kidz Bop’s compilation 20 sold 36,000 copies this week. 
No. 8 Beyonce's "4" sold 34,000 copies this week, bringing her total sales to 627,000.
No. 9 R&B compilation "Slow Grind" debuts with 32,000 albums sold this week.
No. 10 Blake Shelton’s “Red River Blue” sold 26,000 copies this week.

No. 13 Kelly Rowland's "Here I Am" sold  25,000 copies this week bringing her total album sales to 102,000.
No. 14 Royce Da 5'9 and Eminem's "Bad Meets Evil's Hell:The Sequel " sold 24,000 copies this week bringing the duo's total album sales to 420,000.
No. 16  Amy Winehouse's "Back To Black" sold 20,000 copies this week bringing her total album sales to 2.4 million.
No. 31 DJ Khaled's "We The Best Forever" sold 14,000 copies this week bringing his total album sales to 87,000.
No. 32 Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday” sold 13,000 copies this week bringing her total album sales to 1,523,000.
No. 34 Pitbull's "Planet Pit" sold 12,000 copies this week, bringing his total album sales to 155,000.
No. 38 Bruno Mars’ "Doo-Wops & Hooligans" sold 11,500 copies this week bringing his total album sales to 1,206,500.
No. 39 Jill Scott's "Light Of The Sun" sold 11,000 copies this week, bringing her total album sales to  284,500.
No. 41 Big Sean's "Finally Famous" 11,000 copies this week, bringing his total album sales to 171,000.
No. 43 Eminem’s “Recovery” sold 10,000 copies this week bringing his total album sales to 3,981,500.
No. 46 Rihanna’s “Loud” sold 9,000 copies this week bringing her total album sales to 1,399,000.
No. 47 Joss Stone's "LP1" sold 9,000 copies this week, bringing her total album sales to 39,000.
No. 49 Wiz Khalifa's "Rolling Papers" sold 9,000 copies this week, bringing his total album sales to  534,000.
No. 50 Beastie Boys' "Hot Sauce Committee, Part 2" sold 9,000 copies this week, bringing his total album sales to 301,500.
No. 58 Amy Winehouse's debut album "Frank" sold 8,000 this week.
No. 100 Tech N9ne’s “All 6's & 7's” sold 4,500 copies this week bringing his total album sales to 123,000.
No. 125 Wu-Tang's “Legendary Weapons” sold 4,000 copies this week bringing their total album sales to 14,000.
No. 143 Lupe Fiasco's "Lasers" sold 3,000 copies this week, bringing his total album sales to  452,000.
No. 199 Tyler, The Creator's "Goblin" sold 2,500 copies this week, bringing his total album sales to 99,000.
Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Aug. 7) totaled 5.67 million units, down 2% compared to the sum last week (5.76 million) and up 8% compared to the comparable sales week of 2010 (5.26 million). Year to date album sales stand at 183.47 million, up 2% compared to the same total at this point last year (180.18 million). It is the eleventh week in a row where year-to-date album volume is greater than the same time in the prior year. Billboard
