ALBUM SALES FOR THE WEEK ENDING AUGUST 14




No. 1 Jay-Z  and Kanye West’s  “Watch The Throne” debuts with 436,000 copies sold this week.
No. 2 Luke Bryan’s Tailgates & Tanlines debuts with 145,000 albums sold this week.
No. 3 Now That’s What I Call Music 39 debuts with 110,000 albums sold this week.
No. 4 Adele’s 21 sold 73,000 albums sold this week, bringing her total sales to 2,973,000.
No. 5 Eric Church's Chief sold 37,000 copies this week, bringing his total sales to 90,000.
No. 6 Jason Aldean's My Kind Of Party sold 36,000 copies this week.
No. 7  Beyonce's 4 sold 27,000 copies this week, bringing her total sales to 654,000.
No. 9 Jackie Evancho's Dream With Me sold 26,500 copies this week.
No. 8 Ace Hood's Blood, Sweat & Tears debuts with 26,000 copies sold this week.
No. 10 Kidz Bop's compilation 20 sold 25,000 copies this week, bringing its total sales to 61,000.

No. 16 Glee: the 3d Concert Movie soundtrack sold 20,000 copies this week.
No. 21 Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame's Ferrari Boyz debuts with 17,000 copies sold this week.
No. 24 Kelly Rowland's Here I Am sold 16,000 copies this week, bringing her total sales to 118,500.
No. 25 Royce Da 5'9's Success Is Certain debuts with 16,000 copies sold this week.
No. 32  Amy Winehouse's Back To Black sold 13,000 copies this week, bringing her total album sales to 2,404,000.

No. 42 Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday sold 11,000 copies this week bringing her total album sales to 1,533,500.

No. 44 Jill Scott's Light Of The Sun sold 10,000 copies this week, bringing her total album sales to  295,000.
No. 46 Eminem’s Recovery sold 10,000 copies this week, bringing his total album sales to 3,992,000.
No. 47 Pitbull's Planet Pit sold 10,000 copies this week, bringing his total album sales to 165,000.
No. 48 DJ Khaled's We The Best Forever sold 10,000 copies this week, bringing his total album sales to 97,000.
No. 50 Rihanna’s Loud sold 9,000 copies this week, bringing her total album sales to 1,408,500.
No. 111 Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy sold 4,000 copies this week, bringing his total album sales to 1,191,000.
No. 178 Wu-Tang's Legendary Weapons sold 2,500 copies this week, bringing their total album sales to 16,000.
No. 180 Tyler, The Creator's Goblin sold 2,400 copies this week, bringing his total album sales to 102,000.
Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Aug. 14) totaled 5.96 million units, up 5% compared to the sum last week (5.67 million) and up 20% compared to the comparable sales week of 2010 (4.95 million). Year to date album sales stand at 189.43 million, up 2% compared to the same total at this point last year (185.13 million). It is the 12th week in a row where year-to-date album volume is greater than the same time in the prior year. Billboard
