ALBUM SALES FOR THE WEEK ENDING MARCH 13



No. 1 Lupe Fiasco’s “Lasers” debuted with 143,000 albums sold this week. Wow that’s a major look for the Lupe-ster! He still gets the stank wonk eye side-eye from me for his VH1 Hip Hop Honors' A Tribe Called Quest foolishness.

No. 2 Adele’s “21” sold 133,000 copies this week bringing her total album sales to just over 653,000.
No. 3 Glee’s TV soundtrack debuted with 90,000 albums sold this week. 
No. 4 Avril Lavigne’s “Goodbye Lullabye” debuted with 87,000 albums sold this week.
No. 5 R.E.M.’s “Collapse Into Now” debuted with 57,000 albums sold this week.
No. 6 Sara Evan’s “Stronger” debuted with 55,000 albums sold this week.
No. 7 Mumford & Sons’ “Sigh No More” sold 46,000 copies this week.
No. 8 Marsha Ambrosius’ “Late Nights and Early Mornings” sold 41,000 copies this week bringing her total album sales to 137,000.
No. 9 Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never: The Remixes” sold 40,000 copies this week.
No. 10 "Now That's What I Call Music 37” sold 33,000 copies this week.

No. 12 Raekwon’s “Shaolin Vs. Wu-Tang” debuted with 29,000 albums sold this week.
No. 14  Bruno Mars’ "Doo-Wops & Hooligans" sold 25,000 copies this week bringing his total album sales to 821,000.
 No. 15 Rihanna’s “Loud” sold 25,000 copies this week bringing her total album sales to 1065,000.
No. 16 Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday” sold 25,000 copies this week bringing her total album sales to 1,214,000.
No. 19 Eminem’s “Recovery” sold 22,000 copies this week bringing his total album sales to 3,717,000.
No. 32 Kanye West’s “My Beautiful Twisted Dark Fantasy” sold 12,000 copies this week bringing his total album sales to 1,074,000.
No. 38 R. Kelly’s “Love Letter” sold 11,000 copies this week bringing his total album sales to 475,000.
No. 40 Lil Wayne’s “I’m Not A Human Being” sold 11,000 copies this week bringing his total album sales to 807,000.
No. 44 Black Eye Peas’ “The Beginning” sold 10,000 copies this week bringing the group total album sales to 564,000.
No. 48 Cee-Lo’s “The Lady Killer” sold 9,000 copies this week bringing his total album sales to 283,000.
No. 193 B.o.B. “The Adventures of Bobby Ray” sold 3,000 copies this week bringing his total album sales to 531,000.
Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending March 13) totaled 6.22 million units, down 2% compared to the sum last week (6.34 million) and up 2% compared to the comparable sales week of 2010 (6.09 million). Year to date album sales stand at 59.01 million, down 7% compared to the same total at this point last year (63.41 million). Billboard
