ALBUM SALES FOR THE WEEK ENDING AUGUST 8, 2010

No. 1 Arcade Fire's The Suburbs debuts with 156,000 units sold this week.
No. 2 Eminem's Recovery sold 152,000 units this week, bringing his total sales to 1,980,400.
No. 3 Avenged Sevenfold's Nightmare sold 45,000 units this week.
No. 4 Bun B's Trill O.G. debuts with 41,000 units sold this week.
No. 5 Rick Ross' Teflon Don sold 39,000 units this week, bringing his total sales to 278,800.
No. 6 Lady Gaga's The Remix debuts with 39,000 units sold this week.
No. 7 Justin Bieber's My World 2.0 sold 37,000 units this week.
No. 8 Drake's Thank Me Later sold 31,000 units this week, bringing his total sales to 945,900.
No. 9 Lady Antebellum's Need You Now sold 29,000 units this week.
No. 10 Buckcherry's All Night Long debuts with 28,000 units sold this week.

No. 17 Usher's Raymond V. Raymond sold 16,300 units this week, bringing his total sales to 990,100.
No. 18 The Black Eyed Peas' E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) sold 16,300 units this week, bringing their total sales to 2,718,300.
No. 30 Ke$ha's Animal sold 11,600 units this week, bringing her total sales to 872,700.
No. 32 B.o.B.'s Adventures of Bobby Ray sold 11,400 units this week, bringing his total sales to 344,800.
No. 36 Big Boi's Sir Lucious Left Foot sold 10,000 units this week, bringing his total sales to 129,800.
No. 62 The Roots' How I Got Over sold 6,400 units this week, bringing their total sales to 120,000.
No. 89 Tech N9ne Collabos’ The Gates Mixed Plate sold 5,000 units this week, bringing his total sales to 22,000.
No. 112 Fat Joe's The Darkside Volume 1 sold 4,100 units this week, bringing his total sales to 16,000.
No. 193 Curren$y's Pilot Talk sold 2,500 units this week, bringing his total sales to 22,000.
Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Aug. 8) totaled 5.26 million units, up 1% compared to the sum last week (5.21 million) and down 13% compared to the comparable sales week of 2009 (6.04 million). Year to date album sales stand at 180.2 million, down 12% compared to the same total at this point last year (205.3 million). Source
