ALBUM SALES FOR THE WEEK ENDING AUGUST 1, 2010

No. 1 Avenged Sevenfold’s Nightmare, debuts with 163,000 units sold this week.

No. 2 Eminem's Recovery, sold 159,000 units this week, bringing his total sales to 1,828,300.
No. 3 Rick Ross' Teflon Don, sold 63,000 units this week, bringing his total sales to 239,400.
No. 4 Justin Bieber's My World 2.0, sold 38,000 units this week.
No. 5 Drake's Thank Me Later, sold 34,000 units this week, bringing his total sales to 914,700.
No. 6 Kidz Bop 18 sold 29,000 units this week.
No. 7 Lady Antebellum's Need You Now, sold 27,000 units this week.
No. 8 Sheryl Crow's 100 Miles From Memphis, sold 24,000 units this week.
No. 9 Lady Gaga's The Fame, sold 24,000 units this week.
No. 10 Now 34 sold 22,000 units this week.

No. 21 B.o.B.'s Adventures of Bobby Ray, sold 13,000 units this week, bringing his total sales to 333,400.
No. 23 Big Boi's Sir Lucious Left Foot sold 12,800 units this week, bringing his total sales to 119,800.
No. 27 Fat Joe's Darkside, Volume 1 debuts with12,300 units sold this week.
No. 30 Dru Hil's Indrupendence Day debuts with 11,500 units sold this week.
No. 32 Ke$ha's Animal sold 11,200 units this week, bringing her total sales to 861,100.
No. 49 Alicia Keys' Element of Freedom sold 8,000 units this week, bringing her total sales to 1,391,300.
No. 142 Curren$y’s Pilot Talk sold 3,300 units this week, bringing his total sales to 19,000.
No. 171 Slum Village’s Villa Manifesto debuts with 2,700 units this week, bringing his total sales to 2,800.
Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Aug. 1) totaled 5.21 million units, down 1% compared to the sum last week (5.29 million) and down 13% compared to the comparable sales week of 2009 (5.96 million). Year to date album sales stand at 174.9 million, down 12% compared to the same total at this point last year (199.2 million).
