According to the Washington Post, President Obama personally apologized to former U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) official Shirely Sherrod during a 8 a.m. phone call on Wednesday (7/22).
"The President told Ms. Sherrod that this misfortune can present an opportunity for her to continue her hard work on behalf of those in need, and he hopes that she will do so."
The President's apology comes just days after Sherrod was wrongfully discharge from her position at the USDA, where she oversaw rural development in Georgia.

A selectively edited video surfaced on the net a few days ago which portrayed Sherrod as a racist.

Andrew Breitbart, a right-wing blogger purposefully edited down a speech Sherrod gave at the NACCP, which appeared to show her making remarks about her reluctance to lend support to aid a White farmer some 24 years ago when she worked for a non-profit organization geared toward assisting Black farmers.

USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack also apologized to Sherrod for unjustly dismissing her and offered her a new position at the USDA dealing with civil rights and outreach, but Sherrod seems unlikely to accept the offer.
"I would not be that individual that the department, everyone is looking to to solve the issue of racism in USDA. It takes a lot more to get that job done."
Sherrod also told CNN's "American Morning" that said she would like to "get back at" Andrew Breitbart (phucker!). Asked whether she would like to see Breitbart's website shut down, Sherrod replied: "That would be a great thing...he's doing more to divide us."

Check out the video behind the controversy after the break!

These tea-party sons of biotches are just out of control!
