"Brace yourselves for the main event, y'all impatiently waiting like an AIDS test, what's the results?"

Last Thursday (July 8) it seemed like the whole country was waiting on pins and needles to hear the big announcement...which NBA team would Lebron James be playing for next season?

Would it be the Chicago Bulls, the Miami Heat, the Washington Wizards (I knew that wasn't happening) or would Lebron remain with the Cleveland Cavailers?

ESPN took advantage of all the hype and scheduled a 1 hour special with Lebron, at which time he would make the big announcement.

In the end, Lebron decided to head to the Miami Heat and join Dwyane WadeChris Bosh (I had honestly never heard of this dude before Thursday) and coach Pat Riley, with the Heat.

James decided to change his number from 23 to 6 in tribute to Michael Jordan

Check out the video of Lebron announcing his decision after the break!

After Lebron announced his decision to join the Miami Heat the shit hit the fan!

The owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Dan Gilbert released a letter addressed to the the fans on the Cav's website which fired multiple shots at Bron-Bron!

Dear Cleveland, All Of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Cavaliers Supporters Wherever You May Be Tonight;
As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.
This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his "decision" unlike anything ever "witnessed" in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment.
Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.
The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.
There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be communicating much of that to you.
You simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.
You have given so much and deserve so much more.
In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:
You can take it to the bank.
If you thought we were motivated before tonight to bring the hardware to Cleveland, I can tell you that this shameful display of selfishness and betrayal by one of our very own has shifted our "motivation" to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels.
Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there.
Sorry, but that's simply not how it works.
This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown "chosen one" sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. And "who" we would want them to grow-up to become.
But the good news is that this heartless and callous action can only serve as the antidote to the so-called "curse" on Cleveland, Ohio.
The self-declared former "King" will be taking the "curse" with him down south. And until he does "right" by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.
Just watch.
Sleep well, Cleveland.
Tomorrow is a new and much brighter day....
I PROMISE you that our energy, focus, capital, knowledge and experience will be directed at one thing and one thing only:
DELIVERING YOU the championship you have long deserved and is long overdue....
Dan Gilbert
Majority Owner
Cleveland Cavaliers

"Narcissistic," "betrayal (he used that word at least 3 times)," "cowardly," "self-declared/self-titled former King," "disloyal" and "callous" were some of words Gilbert used to describe Lebron. To say Gilbert was disappointed at Lebron's decision would be the understatement of the century.

Gilbert, get the phuckouttahere! When Lebron was making you hundreds of millions of dollars yall was cooler than a fan, but now that he decides to leave, he's a coward, narcissist and self-declared former King...clown stop it!

Maybe, just maybe if Gilbert had invested some of those millions he made off of Lebron into recruiting some quality players to assist Lebron in winning some championships, then his decision might have been different.

Although I personally think having the hour special was a tad much, it was Lebron's choice. He does not owe Gilbert or the people of Cleveland NATHAN!

Let's be honest, Lebron was a one-man show for 7 years with the Cavs. He worked hard; he made the franchise and the city (hell even the state of Ohio) a lot of money; and he was paid handsomely for it. Everyone got something out of the deal.

So, it blows (DC slang for "annoys") me to hear that Cavs fans are allegedly sending Lebron and his family death threats; burning his jersey and carrying on like he stole their bike.

You can't fault Lebron for wanting to win a championship (or 7, you know he wants to beat Jordan's record). And since it was painfully obviously that it wasn't going to happen with the Cavs, he made the decision to go to Miami where he has the support of quality players like D-Wade and Chris Bosh (coincidence that all 3 just happened to be free agents this year and decide to go to the Heat... I think not!) to assist him in winning a championship.

So to the naysayers..."you gotta get with it, or get lost!"

In related news, Leicester Stovella Washington DC based attorney alleges he is the father of Lebron James and has filed a suit against James seeking $4 million.

First, I'm going to need you to sit your fugazi ass down, pronto! Then, let's play devil's advocate and say you're Lebron's pappy. How about coughing up 18 years of missed child support payments to Bron-Bron before you go asking for money, chump!
