ALBUMS SALES FOR THE WEEK ENDING JULY 11, 2010

No. 1 Eminem’s “Recovery,” sold 229,000 units this week bringing his total sales to 1,287,000.
No. 2 Drake’s “Thank Me Later,” sold 74,000 units this week bringing his total sales to 782,800.
No. 3 Big Boi’s “Sir Lucious Left Foot...The Son of Chico Dusty,” debuted with 62,000 units sold this week.
No. 4 “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” soundtrack sold 45,000 units this week.
No. 5 Justin Bieber’s “My World 2.0,” sold 43,000 units this week.
No. 6 The Now 34 compilation sold 33,000 units this week.
No. 7 Jack Johnson’s “To The Sea,” sold 30,000 units this week.
No. 8 Lady Gaga’s “The Fame,” sold 29,000 units this week.
No. 9 Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now,” sold 28,000 units this week
No. 10 Enrigue Iglesias’ “Euphoria,” debuted with 27,000 units sold this week.

No. 14 Bret Michaels’ “Custom Built,” debuted with 22,000 units sold this week.
No. 17 Usher's “Raymond V. Raymond,” sold 19,200 units this week bringing his total sales to 917,600.
No. 19 Kylie Minogue’s “Aphrodite,” debuted with 18,000 units sold this week.
No.  24 Black Eyed Peas ’ “E.N.D.,” sold 14,300 units this week bringing their total sales to 2,654,500.
No. 25 The Roots’ “How I Got Over,” sold 13,800 units this week bringing their total sales to 86,000.
No. 28 B.o.B.’s “Adventures of Bobby Ray,” sold 12,900 units this week bringing his total sales to 296,000.
No. 31 Ke$ha’s “Animal,” sold 12,800 units this week bringing her total sales to 826,500.
No. 34 Christina Aguilera’s “Bionic,” sold 11,000 units this week bringing her total sales to 192,800.
No. 35 Alicia Keys “Element of Freedom,” sold 10,700 units this week bringing her total sales to 1,365,000.
No. 48 Kelis’ “Flesh Tone,” debuted with a disappointing 7,900 units sold this week...ain’t nothing Bossy about those number KeKe!
No. 58 Juvenile’s “Beast Mode,” debuted with a disappointing 6,600 units sold this week…damn whoadie I didn’t even know you had an album out this week, not that I was going to buy it.
No. 92 Young Money’s “We Are Young Money,” sold 4,600 units this week bringing their total sales to 504,000.
No. 127 Drake’s mix-tape “So Far Gone,” sold 3,700 units this week bringing his total sales to 497,000…very impressive!

According to Billboard, overall album sales in this past chart week (ending July 11) totaled 5.23 million units, down 5% compared to the sum last week (5.54 million) and down28% compared to the comparable sales week of 2009 (7.27 million). Year to date album sales stand at 159.2 million, down 12% compared to the same totalat this point last year (180.2 million).
