ALBUM SALES FOR THE WEEK ENDING JANUARY 31, 2010

No. 1 Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now," debuts with 481,000 copies sold.

No. 2 Various Artist "Hope for Haiti Now" charity compilation, sold 143,000 copies this week, bringing total sales to 313,900.

No. 3 Lady Gaga's "The Fame," sold 68,000 copies this week.

No. 4 Susan Boyle's "I Dreamed a Dream," sold 59,000 copies.

No. 5 Barry Manilow "The Greatest Love Songs of All Time," debuts with 57,000 copies sold.

No. 6 Michael Jackson's "This Is It," sold 55,000 copies this week, bringing the late legend’s total sales to 1,404,500.

No. 7 Corinne Bailey Rae "The Sea," debuts with 53,000 copies sold.

No. 8 Various Artists "Grammy Nominees 2010" compilation sold 45,000 this week, bringing total sales to 94,200.

No. 9 Celtic Woman with "Songs From the Heart," debuts with 42,000 copies sold.

No. 10 Black Eyed Peas' "The E.N.D.," sold 40,000 this week, bringing the group total sales to 1,929,400.


No. 11 Alicia Keys' “The Element of Freedom,” sold 36,800 copies this week, bringing her total sales to 965,000.

No. 17 Mary J. Blige's “Stronger,” sold 28,500 copies this week, bringing her total sales to 532,500.

No. 21 Rihanna's “Rated R,” sold 24,000 copies this week, bringing her total sales to 595,800.

No. 28 Young Money compilation, “We Are Young Money,” sold 19,300 copies this week, brining their total sales to 270,400.

No. 31 Michael Jackson’s “Number Ones,” sold 17,200 copies this week, bringing the late legend’s total sales to 4,120,900.

No. 34 Melanie Fiona's “The Bridge,” sold 16,100 bringing the new comer’s total sales to 165,900.

No. 35 Beyonce's “I Am...Sasha Fierce,” sold 16,000 this week, bringing her total sales to 2,709,700.

No. 41 Jay-Z's “The Blueprint III,” sold 14,300 copies this week, bringing his total sales to 1,577,700.

No. 42 Eminem's “Relapse: Refill,” sold 14,000 copies this week, bringing his total sales to 1,805,100.

No. 45 Robin Thicke's “Sex Therapy,” sold 13,000 copies this week, bringing his total sales to 266,900.

No. 47 Trey Songz's “Ready,” sold 12,700 copies this week, bringing his total sales to 486,400.

No. 85 Kid Cudi “Man On The Moon: The End Of Day,” re-enters the top 100 selling 6,600 copies this week, bringing his total sales to 289,000.

No. 86 50 Cent “Before I Self Destruct,” sold roughly 6,600 copies this week, bringing his total sales to 379,000.


Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Jan. 31) totaled 6.50 million units, up 11% compared to the sum last week (5.84 million) and down .06% compared to the comparable sales week of 2009 (6.51 million).
