ALBUM SALES FOR THE WEEK ENDING JANUARY 3, 2010

No. 1 for the 6th consecutive week, Susan Boyle's "I Dreamed a Dream," is the No.1 album in the country. Boyle sold roughly 136,600 copies this week bringing her total sales to 3,104,000.

Unfortunately, her sales were not enough to give her the top selling album of 2009. Country sensation, Taylor Swift’s “Fearless” bested Boyle’s “I Dream a Dream,” selling a total of 3,217,000 albums in 2009.


No. 2 Lady Gaga's "The Fame," sold 82,000 copies this week.

No. 3 Alicia Keys' "The Element of Freedom," sold 80,000 copies this week, bringing her total sales to 779,000, in just three weeks.


No. 4 Mary J. Blige's "Stronger With Each Tear," sold 62,000 this week bringing her total sales to 394, 000.

No. 5 Taylor Swift's "Fearless," sold 60,000 bringing her total sales for 2009 to 3,217,000. As we mentioned previously, Taylor has the top selling album of 2009.


No. 6 Justin Bieber's "My World," EP sold 52,000 copies this week.


No. 7 Soundtrack to "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel," sold 51,000 copies this week.


No. 8 Black Eyed Peas' "The E.N.D.," sold 47,000 copies bringing the group’s total sales to 1,787,000.


No. 9 Lady Gaga's "The Fame Monster" EP, sold 44,000 copies this week.


No. 10 Owl City's "Ocean Eyes," trails right behind Lady Gaga, earning No. 10 spot this week on Billboard's Top 200 Charts.




No. 12 Young Money’s “We Are Young Money,” sold 43,000 copies bringing the label mates collaborative effort to total sales of 186,000.



No. 13 Eminem’s “Relapse,” sold 41,000 copies this week, bringing his total sales to 1,735,000.


No. 14 Rihanna’s “Rated R,” sold 39, 600 copies this week bringing her total sales to 498, 600.

No. 21 Robin Thicke’s “Sex Therapy,” sold 25,800 copies this week bringing his total sales to 209,800.


No. 22 Michael Jackson’s “This Is It,” sold 25, 300 copies this week bringing his total sales to 1,287,000.


No. 23 Jay-Z’s “Blueprint 3,” sold 25,000 copies this week bringing his total sales to 1,515,000.


No. 33 Michael Jackson’s “Number Ones,” sold 18,000 this week bringing his total sales to 4,063,600.


No. 35 Gucci Mane’s “The State vs. Radric Davis,” sold 18,000 copies this week bringing his total sales to 191,000.


No. 37 Chris Brown’s “Graffiti,” sold 16,900 copies this week, bringing his total sales to 232,900.


No. 40 50 Cent’s “Before I Self Destruct,” sold 15,000 copies this week, bringing his total sales to 349,000.


No. 41 Beyonce’s “I Am…Sasha Fierce,” sold 15,300 copies this week, bringing her total sales to 2,658,800.

No. 43 Trey Songz’s “Ready,” sold 15,100 copies this week, bringing his total sales to 438,400.


No. 49 Snoop Dogg’s “Malice N' Wonderland,” sold 14,000 copies this week, bringing his total sales to 147,000.


No. 185 Wale’s “Attention: Deficit,” sold 3,700 copies this week, bringing his total sales to 64,000.
