According to Billboard, Pearl Jam's "Backspacer" claims the top Billboard 200 chart spot this week, while Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3 and Whitney Houston's "I Look To You," are trail not too far behind.

No. 1 Pearl Jam's "Backspacer," debuts at the top of the charts with 189,000 copies sold in its first week.

No. 2 Jay-Z's "The Blueprint 3," sold 134,000 copies this week. The album has sold 908,000 copies in just three weeks in stores.

No. 3 Three Days Grace's "Life Starts Now," debuts with 79,000 albums sold.

No. 4 Whitney Houston's "I Look To You" sold 65,800 albums this week. With just a month in stores, Houston's comebak album has sold 620,300 to date.

No. 5 Miley Cyrus' "The Time Of Our Lives" (EP) remains at No. 5 with 61,000 albums sold.

No. 6 Brand New's "Daisy" debuts with 46,000 albums sold.

No. 7 Five Finger Death Punch's "War Is The Answer" debuts with 44,000 albums sold.

No. 8 Harry Connick, Jr.'s "Your Songs" debuts with 37,000 albums sold.

No. 9 Drake's "So Far Gone" (EP) sold 36,000 albums in his third week in stores. To date his album has sold 109,700 copies.

No. 10 Muse's "The Resistance" sold 36,000 albums this week.

No. 16 The Black Eyed Peas' "E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies)" sold 29,000 this week. With four months in stores, The Peas have sold 1,140,300 to date.

No. 17 Kid Cudi's "Man On The Moon: The End Of Day" sold 28,300 albums in its third week, bringing his total to 132,600.

No. 21 Trey Songz's "Ready" sold 19,200. With just five weeks Songz's album has moved a total of 223,900 units.

No. 27 Maxwell's "Black Summer's Night" sold 16,600 this week. With three months in stores, the album has sold 778,700 albums to date..

No. 30 Lil Boosie's "Superbad: The Return Of Boosie Bad Azz" sold 15,000 album this week. With just two weeks in stores, the album has moved 63,900.

No. 37 Sean Kingston's "Tomorrow" debut with 12,600 album sold. CHICK FIT: Every Capitol Records employee working on the promotion of Kingston's latest album should be one even knew he had an album coming out...let alone that it was coming out this week!

No. 40 Raekwon's "Only Built For Cuban Linx Part II" sold 12,000 album this week.. With just three weeks in stores Rae's follow up to OB4CL has sold an impressive 101,200 albums to date.

No. 44 Beyonce's "I Am...Sasha Fierce" sold 11,100 albums this week. With 45 weeks in stores, the album has sold 2,424,800 copies to date.

No. 45 Eminem's "Relapse" sold 10,900 albums this week. With 19 weeks in stores, the album has sold 1,339,400 copies to date.

No. 48 Pitbull's "Rebelution" sold 10,000 this week. With five weeks in stores, the album has sold 82,000 copies to date.

No. 101 Trick Daddy's "Finally Famous: Born A Thug, Still A Thug," sold 4,700 albums this week brining it's total to 18,000 copies sold to date.

No. 129 KRS-One & Buckshot's "Survival Skills" sold 3,600 albums this week, bringing their total to 12,000 albums sold to date

Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Sept. 27) totaled 5.93 million units, down 8% compared to the sum last week (6.43 million) and down 8% compared to the same sales week of 2008 (6.46 million). Year to date album sales stand at 256.5 million, down 14% compared to the same total at this point last year (297.8 million).
