JACKIN' FOR BEATS: ELLEN'S PRODUCERS GET SUED BY MAJOR RECORD LABELS

Posted by: Roxxanne Roxxanne

According to the Associated Press, the producers of The Ellen Degeneres Show are being sued by Warner Bros., Sony Music, and Motown Records for allegedly "violating the copyright's of over 1,000 songs routinely used when DeGeneres and her audience dances at the beginning of each episode."

The suit was filed last Wednesday, September 9, 2009 in U.S. District Court in Nashville, Tennessee.

Reportedly when representatives of the recording companies asked the producers why they did not obtained licenses to use the songs, the producers replied, they didn’t "ROLL THAT WAY.”

The suit apparently does not involve Ellen personally, and the parties are said to be working on resovlving the suit on "amicable and reasonable terms.”

Wow, what if everyone responded, we don't "ROLL THAT WAY" when questioned why they were breaking the law?

Police Officer: Ma'am why didn't you call police before punching that elderly transgendered (lil man man) in the face, if she was the initial aggressor?

Beyonce:  Cause I don't "ROLL THAT WAY"...LOL!!!
